Spiralize Everything!

Zoodles are a staple of any low carb diet. That’s why we think everyone should invest the small amount of money into a Zoodler/veggeti/julienne peeler/spiralizer! It’s a small tool akin to a pencil sharpener that’s made for creating “spaghetti” out of vegetables. It goes by many names but each one is similar in function. You can spiralize zucchini, squash, broccoli stems, carrots, beets, really anything you can stick into the tool and twist. After you create the noodles, you can cook them down to soften them a bit and dress them up in your favorite sauce and mix-ins.

Most commonly spiralized are zucchini- and that’s exactly what we used for this spicy zoodle dish.

We love the delicate flavor and texture of shrimp. They go really well with bolder flavors like marinara, Parmesan and hot spices. We created an Italian inspired dish that’s a fraction of the carbs of its traditional counterpart.
