Low Carb Snacks To Your Home!
Keto Krate is one of the best tools you can have on a low carb diet! They expertly curate and send full-sized, low carb products to your doorstep every month. Each Keto Krate is full of brands, both new and well-known. The products can range from sweet to savory and are always less than 5 grams of net carbs! Best of all, they require their featured products to be maltitol-free (the harshest of the zero-carb sugar alcohols).

But first, take a look at April’s box and its yummy contents!
Nush Carrot Spice Cake
Nush was this month’s featured product – a highly coveted position. They earned it! It’s great to see an entirely sugar-free snack cake made with low carb and gluten-free ingredients. The carrot spice cake was super moist, chewy and light. It had subtle carrot flavor and burst with cinnamon and other spices. Nush uses flaxseeds to give the cake the perfect amount of moistness and texture. We’ll be trying all their flavors in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned for a full-length review on that!
Zenify Stress Relief
In a sea of monstrous energy drinks promising to give you nothing short of a heart attack, it’s refreshing to see a product aimed to ease. In April’s Keto Krate, we received a Zenify Stress Relief drink! One of the main ingredients is something we always keep in our medicine cabinet – L-theanine (an amino acid most commonly found in green tea). It promotes relaxation, stress relief and focus. It works incredibly well when paired with caffeine because it diminishes any jitters coffee can cause. Overall, the taste was great and the idea behind the drink is amazing! We loved it.
Coco Polo Hazelnut Chocolate Bar
Looking through our Keto Krate, we first noticed Coco Polo’s pleasant packaging. It’s bright and feels great in your hand. Let’s face it, we’re all affected by great packaging. You eat with your eyes first, after all. When we tasted the chocolate, we were struck by how great it was! The hazelnut flavor was really potent and the texture was amazing! It felt like we were eating a Hershey bar mixed with Nutella! How can you not want to try that? Best of all, there’s no sugar in this chocolate. Coco Polo is sweetened with inulin, erythritol and stevia.
RawrevGLO Creamy Peanut Butter Bar
One of our favorite snack bars from a previous Keto Krate was sent again. Same deal this time – instant mmmmmm. We love the ingredients list, we love the texture and flavor. All around great bar to keep in the car, your bag or in your desk at work. We recommended RawRevGLO to a friend who’s just starting out in the keto world and he said he will never stop buying them!
Amarok Beef Stick
The award for the best packaging has to go to Amarok Beef Sticks! If they don’t set the standard for manly, beefy snacks, we don’t know who can. Beyond the packaging, we loved how tender and juicy this beef stick was. If you remember standard beef jerky sticks sold in convenience stores and their overly salty flavor and rough texture, forget that! This stuff actually tastes like meat. Amazing for hikes, car rides or munching away while watching TV. We can’t wait to get another!
Gilded Nut Habanero Pistachios
Give us anything habanero flavored, and you’re our best friend. We always insisted all peppers have their own flavors and heat profiles. Some burn sharp, some give off a pleasant heat. Habaneros heat your mouth and throat and we’re absolute suckers for it. These habanero dusted pistachios hit the spot for us! The seasoning was perfect, the roast of the nuts was perfect as well. We love the added tip on the packaging saying to suck on the shells to extract the last bit of flavor. We never intended on throwing out dry pistachios shells. Never in our lives.
LC Foods Chocolate Covered Almonds
It had to happen one of these days, a product we weren’t wild out. LC Foods sounds like a great company with values we can really stand behind, but these chocolate covered almonds weren’t something we could enjoy. They were pretty bitter, offputting and left a poor aftertaste in our mouths. Perhaps a bad batch, perhaps not. We’d love to try another product of theirs to determine if this was a fluke. For now, the almonds remain uneaten in our pantry.
Biltong Beef Jerky
Finally, Biltong Beef Jerky ended our snack session with their soft, tender beef jerky. The flavor was mild, with minimal seasonings to let the meat shine on its own. The jerky was made by air drying instead of heat, which retains a lot of the meat’s natural flavor and provided the unique soft texture we so enjoyed. Biltong is great for hikes or road trips and comes in a resealable bag to retain freshness. Yum!
