But first, take a look at November’s box and its yummy contents!
Eliot’s Adult Nut Butter
When we heard we’d be getting a spicy peanut butter in our Keto Krate, we were thrilled. We’re big spice advocates and who doesn’t love peanut butter? Better yet, the flavor we got was a Spicy Thai Peanut Butter. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we love Thai food. It’s what we miss most about our trip to Thailand. Tasting this peanut butter brought us back with its light heat and lime hints. It’s amazing.
Front Porch Pecans
Pecans are in our top 3 favorite nuts (preceeded only by macadamias). We love bringing them on long car rides or crushing them into salads. They work great as a crust for cheesecake and give a rich, nutty flavor to anything you put them in. Keto Krate supplied us with a great, roasted and salted nut this month that we adored.
Remember those 100 Calorie Packs back in the day? Those little flavorless, dry crackers they touted as “healthy” and “delicious”? Well, this is much better! At only 100 calories, Adapt Bar is actually creamy, delicious and best of all, low carb! This little bar is perfect for keeping in your bag at work or school. The flavor we got was berry and it worked so great with the coconutty flavor from its coconut oil base. So creamy and dreamy!
Pork rinds are always a favorite for us in Keto Krates. We love dips and sauces and sometimes find ourselves missing that crunch that regular chips used to provide. Pork rinds save the day! These crunchy bits of heaven are the perfect carriers for our favorite dips. 4505 Chicharrones makes a mouthwatering Smokehouse BBQ flavor that we haven’t experienced in any other brand of pork rinds – and believe us, we’ve tried a ton! We can’t wait to see these guys sold in stores.
Power of 3 – Powerhouse Blend 3
This was a new discovery for us, Power of 3 Powerhouse Blend – Coconut Goji flavor. It’s a mix of several different nutritional powerhouses like chia, flax, pumpkin seeds, hemp seeds, goji berries and coconut flakes. It’s loaded with fiber and tastes faintly sweet. We tried it over yogurt and it added some great texture and nutritional benefits. You can also try adding it to your protein shakes in the morning!
Chocoperfection – Raspberry
Chocoperfection is a truly sugar-free chocolate brand! We’re so impressed with its ingredients list, anytime we see it, we make sure to grab a few bars. This was our first time trying their raspberry flavor and we thought it was a great balance between chocolatey and fruity. They make a whole range of chocolate bars that we recommend to anyone wanting to try a good sugar-free brand.
