Back to the Beach–Miami Beach

For six seasons MTV viewers were entertained by the antics of eight housemates on the Jersey Shore. Though the hit reality show ended in 2012, the fame of the eight carried on long afterwards. Fans continued to follow the lives of Pauly D, JWoww, Snooki and the rest of the high-flying, hard-partying gang. To fan delight, most of the stars reunited this year for a special season, Jersey Shore: Family Vacation. The show brought seven of the original cast to Miami, and was so successful that several future specials are now in planning.

His diet of choice is a ketogenic one, recently popular with other stars, such as Kim Kardashian and Melissa McCarthyGuadagnino attributes his newfound health to eliminating two food groups from his diet. “When I ate sugars and grains, I was 50 pounds heavier and looked 10 years older,” Vinny posted to Instagram. “I’ve discovered the fountain of youth.”1

Using the social media account, “Keto Guido,” as he’s been styling himself, shares tips with followers on how to employ the diet in their own lives. He documents his meals, as well as challenges and slip-ups he’s faced. His states that his goal is to encourage his fans to become fitter and healthier.

“This is why I started this page. To take away the stigma that saturated animal fat clogs your arteries and instead teach people the truth: sugars and grains will cause diseases and obesity before anything else… I’m speaking generally because everyone’s food sensitivity is different, but in most cases, this will be the truth.”2 Fans will have to continue following or watching to see how long Vinny’s new regimen lasts. And with the series renewal, they’ll be able to track his progress for a while to come.
