Ingredients
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • 3 slices bacon (cooked and chopped)
  • salt and pepper
Instructions
  1. Combine the pumpkin puree, coconut milk, and chicken broth in a medium sauce pan.
  2. Whisk until smooth and then bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until cooked through.
  4. Stir in the sage then season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Spoon into bowls and top with chopped bacon to serve. Makes 3 servings.
